Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in automotive mechanics. Your background includes extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues and have experience installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. You are comfortable working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, showcasing your versatility in the automotive field.
You thrive in a team environment and are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your ability to work collaboratively with others is essential, especially when facing challenges that require teamwork and communication. You are also open to ongoing training and development, ensuring that your skills progress alongside the company.
What you'll do
As a Lead Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. Your role will involve tackling complex automotive issues, ensuring that each vehicle meets high standards of safety and performance. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
You will also be expected to mentor and guide entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction will be paramount as you work to deliver vehicles that meet our customers' expectations. Additionally, you may be required to work mandatory overtime during peak times to ensure that we meet our delivery commitments.
