Carvana is hiring a Lead Auto Technician to perform extensive repairs and advanced vehicle diagnostics. You'll work on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, in Oklahoma City.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating a strong background in automotive mechanics. Your expertise includes performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues and have experience installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your ability to work on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, sets you apart in the automotive field.

You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of working collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure that vehicles are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. You are adaptable and willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet customer demands. Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively interact with both customers and team members, ensuring a smooth workflow in the inspection center.

What you'll do

As a Lead Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in our high-tech Inspection Centers to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards. Your role will involve diagnosing complex automotive issues and implementing effective solutions to ensure vehicle safety and performance. You will also be expected to mentor and train entry-level technicians, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers within the company.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and that safety protocols are followed at all times. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to Carvana's mission of providing exceptional customer service and high-quality vehicles.
