Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in automotive mechanics. You are skilled in performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work, and you possess advanced vehicle diagnostics capabilities. Your experience includes repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues and working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of the job, including mandatory overtime when necessary.

What you'll do

As a Lead Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. You will tackle heavy engine work and advanced vehicle electrical issues, ensuring that all repairs meet high-quality standards. You will also be involved in installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your role will require you to utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
