Who you are
You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. As an entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician, you are ready to learn and grow in a supportive environment that values your contributions. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of the job, including mandatory overtime when necessary.
You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of prepping vehicles for paint, which includes tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You are excited about using state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers and are motivated by the opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career.
What you'll do
In this role, you will prep vehicles for paint, ensuring that each vehicle meets Carvana's high standards for quality. You will be responsible for sanding surfaces, applying masking tape, and preparing vehicles for the painting process. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you work to ensure that every vehicle is ready for the next steps in the repair process. You will also participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and increase your earning potential as you progress within the company.
You will work closely with a team of skilled technicians and will be expected to communicate effectively with your colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow. Your commitment to teamwork and collaboration will help Carvana maintain its reputation for delivering great vehicles to customers on time.
