Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, particularly in product insights and user journey analysis. Your strong analytical skills allow you to derive actionable insights from complex datasets, and you are proficient in SQL and Python, which you use to manipulate and analyze data effectively. You understand the importance of data in driving product decisions and have experience working closely with product teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where data is generated in large volumes. Your experience includes building data pipelines and utilizing machine learning techniques to enhance product features. You are a strong communicator, able to present your findings to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies.
Desirable
Experience with A/B testing and user research methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker. You have a passion for understanding user behavior and translating that into actionable product insights.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Data Science & Insights team at Catawiki, where you will analyze vast amounts of data generated by our platform. You will work closely with product teams to identify user journey opportunities and measure the impact of product features. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data models, conducting experiments to validate hypotheses, and creating dashboards to visualize key metrics.
You will leverage your expertise in SQL and Python to build self-service data tools that empower product teams to make informed decisions. Collaborating with engineers and product managers, you will ensure that data is effectively integrated into the product development process. Your insights will help shape the direction of our product offerings and enhance the overall user experience.
