Who you are

You have a strong background in data science with a focus on product development — your expertise in statistical methods allows you to design and validate causal inference frameworks effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product leaders and executives to communicate complex data insights in an accessible manner.

Your experience includes building complex models in R or Python, and you are comfortable leading statistical research projects that uncover patterns in data. You have a proven track record of conducting A/B tests and multivariate tests, ensuring that your recommendations are backed by rigorous analysis and sufficient statistical power.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate the implications of your findings to stakeholders across the company. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and are passionate about leveraging data to drive product success.

Desirable

Experience with advanced statistical techniques and a solid understanding of machine learning principles would be beneficial. Familiarity with product management processes and the ability to influence product strategy through data insights are also highly valued.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with product and engineering teams to identify and evaluate high-impact product opportunities. You will lead the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments, ensuring that they are statistically sound and yield actionable insights. Your work will involve rigorous experimentation, causal inference, and predictive modeling to inform product decisions.

You will conduct statistical research projects that uncover patterns in user behavior and product performance, providing valuable insights that drive product enhancements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into the product development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include communicating findings to stakeholders, advising on strategic decisions, and contributing to a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization. You will also mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the continuous improvement of data practices at Klaviyo.
