What you'll do

As a Consultant at CFGI, you will work as part of a team with other professionals and client management on all facets of engagements. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial information, interviewing client management, and identifying key issues that arise during projects. You will take ownership of your projects from start to finish, ensuring that you make a true business impact with your clients. You will prepare operational due diligence for complex transactions, such as acquisitions and divestitures, and work on accounting projects focused on carving out business units or subsidiaries. Additionally, you will integrate with clients' internal staff as a subject matter expert, providing support for operational senior accounting tasks and overall financial team needs. You will also be involved in preparing financial and regulatory information in accordance with regulatory requirements, as well as researching and documenting projects related to new accounting standards and process improvements.
