Who you are
You have a background in accounting and/or finance, with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills that allow you to easily assimilate into teams. Your strong technical skills and working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP enable you to provide valuable insights and support to clients. You possess effective analytical and critical thinking abilities, along with an entrepreneurial nature that drives your self-motivation and commitment to quality client service. Your high energy and dependable character make you a trusted partner in client interactions.
What you'll do
As a Consultant at CFGI, you will work as part of a team with other professionals and Big 4 auditors on various engagements. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial information, interviewing client management, and identifying key issues that impact their operations. You will take ownership of projects from start to finish, preparing operational due diligence for complex transactions such as acquisitions and divestitures. You will also engage in accounting projects focused on carving out business units and provide integration support as a subject matter expert for clients' internal staff. Your role will involve preparing financial and regulatory information in accordance with regulatory requirements, as well as researching and documenting projects related to new accounting standards and process improvements. You will thrive in a client-facing role, developing strong relationships with client management while consistently being challenged in a collegial environment.
