Who you are
You have experience in consulting or accounting advisory, working collaboratively with teams and clients to analyze financial information and identify key issues. You thrive in client-facing roles and enjoy building strong relationships with client management. You are comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish and are eager to learn in a collegial environment with top-tier experts.
You are adept at preparing operational due diligence for complex transactions, such as acquisitions and divestitures, and have experience with financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC requirements. You understand the importance of process improvement and are skilled at integrating with clients' internal staff as a subject matter expert in operational accounting tasks.
What you'll do
As a Consultant at CFGI, you will engage in various accounting projects, focusing on carving out business units and subsidiaries. You will prepare financial reports and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with SEC standards. Your role will involve conducting research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards, as well as participating in meetings and report writing.
You will work closely with other CFGI professionals and Big 4 auditors, contributing to a wide range of projects across different industries. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial information, interviewing client management, and developing actionable insights to drive business impact. You will enjoy the flexibility of working in office, remote, or client site locations, depending on the engagement specifics.
