Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, economics, accounting, or business — your educational background equips you with the foundational knowledge necessary for valuation practices. You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with clients and team members alike. You are adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating your ability to prioritize and deliver results. You are eager to learn and grow within the valuation field, with aspirations to become professionally designated in real estate and machinery and equipment valuation disciplines.
What you'll do
As a Tangible Assets Consultant at CFGI, you will play a crucial role in the Valuation Practice, helping clients navigate complex debt and equity transactions. Your responsibilities will include conducting financial reporting valuations for business combinations, which involves the valuation of real property, personal property, and leasehold interests. You will also perform appraisals of real property for gift and estate taxes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will engage in real estate market analysis and outreach to market participants such as brokers and appraisers, enhancing your understanding of market dynamics. You will collaborate closely with other valuation teams within the firm, particularly in business valuation and complex securities, to provide comprehensive valuation services across various industries.
