Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in real estate, finance, economics, accounting, or business — your education has equipped you with the analytical skills necessary to navigate complex valuation scenarios. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues alike. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with ease. Your attention to detail ensures that all valuations are accurate and compliant with relevant standards. You are eager to learn and grow, with aspirations to become professionally designated in real estate and machinery and equipment valuation disciplines.

What you'll do

As a Tangible Assets Manager at CFGI, you will be responsible for conducting financial reporting valuations for business combinations, including purchase price allocations. This involves the valuation of real property, personal property such as machinery and equipment, and leasehold interests. You will also perform appraisals of real property for gift and estate taxes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your role will require you to conduct real estate market analysis and outreach to market participants, including brokers and appraisers, to gather necessary data for your valuations. You will work closely with other valuation teams within the firm, coordinating efforts with business valuation and complex securities teams, as well as across service lines, particularly in accounting advisory. You will have opportunities to assist with proposals and the development of marketing materials, contributing to the growth and visibility of the Valuation Practice.

What we offer

At CFGI, you will have the chance to work directly with and learn from practice leadership, gaining invaluable insights into the valuation process. We provide opportunities for professional development, including pathways to obtain designations in real estate and machinery and equipment valuation. You will be part of a collaborative team that values your contributions and encourages your growth. We offer a supportive work environment where you can thrive and make a meaningful impact on our clients' success.
