Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines. Your expertise includes working with both structured and unstructured data, and you are proficient in cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure. You understand the importance of data quality and have experience with data validation and testing processes. You are familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and have a solid understanding of modern data architectures, including data lakes and data warehouses.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams across different regions. You can translate business goals into effective data engineering solutions and are skilled at monitoring and optimizing data pipelines for performance and reliability. Your knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD integration for data workloads enhances your ability to deliver high-quality solutions.

Desirable

Experience with machine learning pipelines or MLOps frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with data quality frameworks and observability tools. A cloud certification, such as AWS Data Analytics or Azure Data Engineer Associate, would further demonstrate your expertise in the field.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support the transformation of data into actionable insights. You will implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using cloud-based technologies. Supporting data validation, testing, and documentation processes will be key to maintaining high standards of data quality. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and deployment of modern data architectures, ensuring that security, governance, and compliance are prioritized in all stages of data handling.

As part of an agile team, you will engage in continuous improvement practices, integrating emerging tools and frameworks to modernize existing data environments. Your role will also involve applying Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices for provisioning and managing cloud resources, enhancing the efficiency of data operations.
