You have a solid background in cloud operations, ideally with experience in AWS environments — you understand the intricacies of managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring its stability. You are familiar with monitoring tools such as Datadog, PagerDuty, and CloudWatch, which you have used to track system performance and respond to alerts effectively. You thrive in a remote work environment and enjoy collaborating with global teams to solve complex technical challenges.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and can quickly validate alerts and escalate incidents based on established protocols — your attention to detail ensures that operational tasks are executed efficiently. You are comfortable following documented procedures for common issues and managing standard maintenance activities, contributing to the overall reliability of the infrastructure.

Experience with incident management and operational stability in a cloud environment is a plus — familiarity with SRE and DevOps practices will help you collaborate effectively with senior engineers. What you'll do
As a Cloud Operations Engineer at Cloudbeds, you will be the frontline support for our global infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 operational stability across our AWS-based environment. Your core responsibilities will include monitoring critical systems through platforms such as Datadog, PagerDuty, and CloudWatch. You will rapidly validate alerts and escalate verified incidents based on clearly defined protocols, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly.
You will execute operational tasks and follow documented procedures for common issues, managing standard maintenance activities to keep our systems running smoothly. Additionally, you will have opportunities to collaborate directly with senior engineers across SRE, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams, contributing to the resolution of a wide range of technical challenges.
Your role will also involve gaining exposure to complex, real-world systems, allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge in cloud operations.
