Who you are

You have 1 to 3 years of experience in L2 support, specifically with Windows, Patching, and Backups. Your background includes practical experience or a degree in a related field such as B.E./B.Tech/MCA. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to coordinate effectively with internal teams and customers. Your understanding of ITIL modules, particularly in Incident and Change Management, is solid, and you are familiar with compliance-related health checks in Active Directory.

You have working knowledge of various tools, including ServiceNow and BMC True sight, which you have used to manage tasks efficiently. Your technical skills extend to VMware and cloud technologies like Azure and AWS, allowing you to navigate modern cloud environments. You are also experienced in using CommVault for backups and have a good grasp of patching processes.

What you'll do

As a NOC Systems Engineer at Navisite, you will be responsible for managing L2 level tasks across various domains. This includes handling patching and backups, ensuring that systems are up-to-date and secure. You will coordinate with NOC L1 teams and internal support teams to plan and execute these tasks effectively. Your role will require you to communicate with customers and vendors, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed.

You will also be involved in monitoring system performance and conducting health checks to maintain compliance with industry standards. Your expertise in ITIL will guide your approach to incident management and change management, helping to streamline processes and improve service delivery. You will contribute to the overall goal of creating a modern cloud MSP with a talented global team, and your efforts will directly impact the quality of service provided to customers.
