Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in DevSecOps, with at least 5 years of experience in securing production systems. Your expertise includes working with cloud environments, particularly AWS, and you are well-versed in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. You understand the importance of security in the software development lifecycle and have hands-on experience implementing security measures across various platforms.
You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols. Your experience includes working with configuration management tools like Ansible and infrastructure as code practices using Terraform. You are comfortable navigating complex security challenges and have a keen eye for identifying potential vulnerabilities in systems.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for embedding security practices within the DevOps team, ensuring that security is a priority throughout the development process. You will partner with existing DevSecOps engineers to secure massively scalable production systems that support tens of thousands of websites and applications. Your responsibilities will include conducting security assessments, implementing security controls, and responding to security incidents.
You will also work on organizational security initiatives, focusing on identity management, endpoint security, and risk assessment. Your hands-on approach will allow you to make a real impact across R&D, production, and the business as a whole. You will collaborate closely with development teams to integrate security into their workflows and provide guidance on best practices.
