Overview

Cloudinary is seeking a Director of Global Sales Development to lead the SDR organization and enhance pipeline quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership in sales development strategies and a hands-on approach to building a high-conversion pipeline.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a seasoned Sales Development leader with a proven track record of enhancing the quality and efficiency of outbound pipelines. With experience in redesigning SDR models, you understand the importance of pipeline quality over mere activity metrics. You thrive in environments where productivity and economic efficiency are prioritized, and you are comfortable leading teams to achieve these goals.

You possess strong leadership skills and have successfully managed global teams, ensuring alignment between Sales and SDRs for optimal pipeline acceptance and conversion. Your hands-on approach allows you to engage directly with your team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. You are willing to work from the San Jose office three days a week and are open to international travel as needed.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of the Sales Development function, focusing on building a predictable and high-conversion Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) pipeline. You will lead a global SDR organization, implementing disciplined qualification processes and ensuring tight alignment with Sales teams. Your responsibilities will include redesigning SDR models to enhance productivity and effectiveness, as well as developing training programs to elevate the skills of your team members.

You will analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices that drive results. Collaborating closely with marketing and sales leadership, you will ensure that the SDR team is equipped to meet the evolving needs of the business. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a high-performing culture that values quality and efficiency in sales development.
