Overview
Codat is hiring a Product Manager for an 8-month maternity leave cover to take ownership of an established lending product area. You'll work closely with Engineering and Commercial teams to drive product strategy and execution.
Job Description
Who you are
You have proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in the financial services or platform products space. You are a self-starter who takes accountability and gets things done, demonstrating strong analytical and commercial judgment. Your excellent stakeholder management skills allow you to influence and align cross-functional teams effectively. You are comfortable challenging assumptions and continuously improving processes, and you possess clear, structured communication skills with strong attention to detail.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the full product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery and iteration. You will lead a dedicated engineering squad, driving both strategy and day-to-day execution. Your responsibilities will include shaping and maintaining the product backlog, making smart prioritization trade-offs, and translating complex problems into clear requirements and shipped outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams, grounding your decisions in customer needs, data, and business impact.
