Who you are
You have a strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise includes training and deploying machine learning models, particularly in natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. You understand the intricacies of large language models (LLMs) and are eager to push their limits to solve real-world problems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with enterprise customers to design and implement custom solutions that meet their unique needs.
You are passionate about the impact of AI on society and are committed to building systems that enhance human capabilities. You have a track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready models and are comfortable navigating the complexities of model evaluation and optimization. Your analytical mindset allows you to derive insights from data, and you are always looking for ways to improve the performance and capabilities of the models you work with.
Desirable
Experience with frontier models and cutting-edge techniques in machine learning is a plus. Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent integrations will set you apart. What you'll do
In this role, you will work directly with enterprise customers, understanding their domains and designing custom LLM solutions that address high-value challenges. You will train and customize frontier models, leveraging Cohere's full stack to deliver innovative AI solutions. Your responsibilities will include conducting model evaluations, developing insights, and influencing the capabilities of Cohereβs foundation models. You will collaborate with a diverse team of researchers and engineers, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art modeling techniques.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the models you deliver are not only effective but also scalable and maintainable. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate your solutions into existing systems and workflows.
