You have a strong background in sales with a proven track record of success in a value-driven sales model — your experience includes effectively selling complex solutions to diverse clients. You possess a 'hunter/closer' mentality, always looking for new opportunities to drive revenue growth. Your ability to prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline is exceptional, and you thrive in dynamic environments where collaboration is key.
You understand the importance of building relationships and can effectively communicate the value proposition of Confluent's offerings to potential clients. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to close deals and exceed sales targets consistently. You are comfortable working with a partner ecosystem and can collaborate with Solutions Engineers and Professional Services to ensure customer success.
What you'll do
As a Senior Account Executive at Confluent, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across large and complex territories. You will proactively prospect and develop a robust sales pipeline, identifying and qualifying leads to convert them into customers. Your role will involve owning the entire sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring that you meet and exceed your quarterly sales targets.
You will collaborate closely with team members in business development, customer success, and support to deliver exceptional service to clients. Your ability to present and articulate the value of Confluent's solutions will be crucial in winning over potential customers.
