Who you are

You are a motivated and growth-minded individual with a strong background in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering value through innovative technology. Your consultative selling skills allow you to uncover opportunities and solve real business problems for clients.

You possess excellent communication skills and can build long-term relationships with clients. You are comfortable navigating the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals. Your ability to ask hard questions and give honest feedback makes you a valuable team player.

Desirable

Experience in enterprise sales, particularly within the technology sector, is a plus. Familiarity with data streaming platforms or similar technologies will help you succeed in this role. A background in working with diverse teams and a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture are also desirable traits.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle for net-new logos in your assigned territory. This includes prospecting potential clients, conducting discovery meetings to understand their needs, designing tailored solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you propose align with client expectations and deliver real value.

You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition efforts and will leverage your strong prospecting skills to identify and engage with potential clients. Your consultative approach will help you uncover business challenges and position Confluent's data streaming platform as the ideal solution. You will also track your sales activities and results, providing regular updates to your team and management.
