Overview

Confluent is hiring a Business Value Consultant to partner with the Field Sales organization and drive discovery within strategic accounts. This role requires strong collaboration skills and a focus on identifying new opportunities for value addition.

You are a strategic thinker with a strong background in business operations and sales support. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy engaging with prospects and customers to uncover their needs and challenges. Your ability to ask insightful questions and provide honest feedback makes you a valuable partner to the sales team. You understand the importance of data in driving business decisions and are passionate about helping organizations leverage data streaming technology to achieve their goals.

You have experience working closely with sales teams, including Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives, to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate the value of Confluent's offerings effectively. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and can adapt your approach based on the unique needs of each client.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate with Confluent’s Field Sales organization to drive discovery within strategic accounts. You will engage with prospects and customers early in the sales cycle to identify new land and expansion opportunities. Your insights will help shape the sales strategy and ensure that Confluent adds maximum value to its clients. You will work closely with the Customer Success Group and Confluent Partners to ensure a seamless experience for customers.

You will be responsible for analyzing customer needs and aligning them with Confluent's solutions. This involves conducting thorough research and leveraging data to support your recommendations. You will also participate in sales presentations and discussions, showcasing how Confluent's data streaming platform can transform their operations.
