Confluent is hiring a Solutions Engineer focused on acquisition to drive technical sales and support new customer onboarding. You'll partner with the sales team to demonstrate the Confluent platform's capabilities. This role requires strong technical acumen and the ability to navigate complex sales processes.

You are a Solutions Engineer with a strong focus on acquisition, ready to be the technical spearhead in the sales cycle. You possess a strong technical background that allows you to navigate complex technical roadblocks and design validated technical solutions. Your experience in conducting Proofs of Concept (POCs) is invaluable, as you ensure that the initial deployment of Confluent technology is successful. You are committed to expanding the global customer base and understand the critical role you play in this strategy. You are a team player who believes in the power of collaboration and diverse perspectives, making space for everyone to lead and grow.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the technical sale, working closely with the sales team to position the Confluent platform's capabilities to new prospects. You will conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand the specific business needs of potential clients, ensuring that you can tailor your technical solutions accordingly. Your ability to inspire prospects through engaging demonstrations will be key to securing technical wins.
You will also be responsible for navigating complex technical challenges that may arise during the sales process. This includes designing and implementing POCs that effectively showcase the capabilities of the Confluent platform. Your role will require you to collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring that all technical aspects are aligned with the sales strategy. You will play a crucial part in the onboarding process, helping new customers successfully deploy Confluent technology and ensuring they realize its full potential.
