Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a consultative selling environment. Your deep understanding of the Martech and DXP ecosystems allows you to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. You excel in value-based selling and are familiar with the MEDPICC sales methodology, ensuring that you qualify deals and navigate complex sales processes with ease. You are a trusted advisor who can articulate the value of solutions to enterprise clients, helping them achieve their business objectives.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with Business Development, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing teams to nurture relationships and drive customer enablement initiatives. Your ability to develop robust account strategies and pipeline management is complemented by your strong negotiation skills, enabling you to close deals ranging from $50K to over $1M in annual contract value.

You are results-driven and consistently meet or exceed sales goals, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the Martech landscape to position Contentful as a leader in content management solutions. You are comfortable working in a hybrid role, balancing on-site and remote work while maintaining a strong presence in the Sydney market.

Desirable

Experience with content personalization and a strong grasp of CMS platforms will set you apart. Familiarity with enterprise account management and a history of driving new revenue streams will enhance your candidacy. You are adaptable and open to learning, eager to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

What you'll do

As a Senior Account Executive at Contentful, you will lead the full end-to-end sales cycle for enterprise accounts across Australia. Your primary responsibility will be to source, position, negotiate, and close new logo and expansion business, ensuring that you leverage your strong knowledge of Martech, DXP, and CMS platforms. You will develop and execute account strategies that align with customer needs and business objectives, driving new revenue and transforming digital experiences for your clients.

You will engage with both new and existing enterprise accounts, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process. Your consultative approach will help you understand client challenges and position Contentful's solutions effectively. You will document and execute the MEDPICC sales methodology, ensuring that all deals are qualified and stakeholders are engaged.

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer enablement initiatives are successful. You will nurture relationships with key stakeholders, guiding enterprises to realize the full value of Contentful's offerings. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences will be essential in driving successful outcomes.
