Who you are

You have a strong background in managing technology partnerships, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Your entrepreneurial mindset allows you to proactively identify and create opportunities that drive joint value for both the company and its partners. You excel in cross-departmental collaboration, working closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and align them with partner solutions. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to effectively represent both the partner's organization and your own within the sales territory.

You are adept at diagnosing customer pain points and leveraging partner capabilities to address them. Your ability to work collaboratively with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers ensures that you can drive expansion and net new business effectively. You understand the importance of maintaining awareness internally about partner offerings and how they can benefit customers.

Desirable

Experience in a technology-focused environment is a plus, as is familiarity with sales processes and customer relationship management. A background in software or technology sales can enhance your effectiveness in this role, allowing you to navigate complex partner ecosystems with ease.

What you'll do

As a Senior Technology Alliance Manager at Contentful, you will play a pivotal role in aligning sales efforts with technology partners. Your primary responsibility will be to execute a development strategy that maximizes joint opportunities and drives customer value. You will work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and diagnose how partner solutions can meet those needs effectively.

You will serve as the key liaison between the sales team and partners, ensuring that both sides are aligned and informed about ongoing initiatives. This involves regular communication with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to understand market dynamics and customer feedback. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities that involve partner collaboration, driving both sourced and influenced business.

Your role will require you to be proactive in identifying potential challenges and opportunities within the partner ecosystem. You will need to spearhead solutions that not only benefit the company but also enhance the overall customer experience. By fostering strong relationships with partners, you will help extend the reach of Contentful's offerings and drive mutual success.
