Who you are

You have a strong background in automation engineering, with experience in designing and maintaining automated testing infrastructures. Your expertise spans across multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux, and macOS, allowing you to validate complex functionalities effectively. You understand the importance of robustness and reliability in system monitoring and management technologies, and you are passionate about building scalable solutions that enhance performance.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working remotely. Your communication skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all aspects of the automation process are aligned with the company's goals. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the automated testing infrastructure for ControlUp's agent platform. Your primary focus will be on validating the functionality of agents across different operating systems, ensuring that they perform reliably under various conditions.

You will also be tasked with identifying areas for improvement within the existing automation framework and implementing enhancements that increase efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborating with other engineers, you will contribute to the overall architecture of the testing infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of the organization.

Additionally, you will monitor the performance of the automated tests and analyze results to provide insights that drive decision-making. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues that arise during testing and working with teams to resolve them promptly. You will play a key role in ensuring that the next-generation ControlUp agent platform is robust and reliable, ultimately contributing to the success of the company's mission.
