Overview
Crusoe is hiring a Manager of Field Operations to oversee the operational capability of their Spark AI data centers. You'll be responsible for uptime management and maintenance scheduling. This role requires strong leadership in operational processes.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in operations management, particularly in maintaining high-reliability systems. Your experience includes developing standard operating procedures and ensuring compliance with service level agreements. You are adept at managing teams and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in operational performance.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to monitor uptime and repair metrics effectively. Your ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential, as you will interface with technical teams to align operational practices with engineering best practices. You are committed to driving innovation and efficiency in field operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be accountable for the uptime and performance of Crusoe's Spark fleet. You will develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance scheduling system, ensuring that all deployed units are maintained according to best practices. Your responsibilities will include creating a playbook for operations and maintenance, which will serve as a guide for your team.
You will also enforce service level agreements with managed services customers, ensuring that they receive the reliability and performance promised. As the primary interface with the DIG team, you will work to standardize operations across the Spark fleet, simplifying protocols and enhancing operational efficiency.
