Who you are
You are an experienced Enterprise Account Executive with a proven track record in selling to enterprise accounts, particularly in the APJ region. You have a deep understanding of customer needs and can effectively communicate the value of innovative solutions. Your ability to compress decision cycles and guide deals forward sets you apart in the sales landscape.
With a strong background in enterprise sales, you thrive on identifying new opportunities and closing both new and existing accounts. You are adept at presenting territory plans and meeting with key stakeholders, including CIOs and IT executives, to drive revenue growth. Your solution-based approach to selling ensures that you create real value for customers, leading to high satisfaction rates.
You are comfortable using Salesforce to track customer details, manage pipelines, and forecast sales. Your strategic mindset allows you to prioritize opportunities effectively, balancing quick wins with longer, complex sales cycles. You are passionate about understanding your product in depth and can articulate its benefits to customers and system integrators.
Desirable
Experience in the cloud data platform space or familiarity with Apache Spark would be advantageous. You are also encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a territory plan within your first 90 days. You will engage with CIOs, IT executives, and other key partners to present Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform. Your goal will be to close new accounts while also nurturing existing relationships, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
You will identify and close quick wins while managing longer, more complex sales cycles. Exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets will be a key focus, and you will utilize a solution-based approach to selling that emphasizes the value of Databricks' offerings. Your ability to track customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, will be crucial for successful forecasting and relationship management.
