Who you are
You have extensive experience in professional services leadership, ideally within the technology sector, and a proven track record of driving customer success through effective engagement management and project delivery. Your background includes managing diverse teams of Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Architects, and Consultants, ensuring that all aspects of service delivery align with customer expectations and business objectives. You understand the importance of building strong relationships with clients and have a strategic mindset that allows you to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in service offerings.
You are adept at navigating complex organizational structures and can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and empowers team members to excel in their roles. You are passionate about building high-performing teams and are committed to developing talent within your organization. You have a deep understanding of the Data and AI/ML landscape and are excited about the potential to solve challenging problems for customers in the EMEA region.
Desirable
Experience in the Data and AI/ML industry is a plus, as is familiarity with the Databricks platform. You may have a background in consulting or a related field, with a focus on delivering high-value projects that drive measurable outcomes for clients. A strong network within the technology sector can also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
As the Senior Director of Professional Services at Databricks, you will lead a regional team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our Strategic and Enterprise customers across the EMEA Benelux and Nordics regions. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of professional services engagements, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting the highest quality standards. Your role will involve collaborating closely with sales teams to position Databricks' services effectively and drive customer adoption of our Data Intelligence Platform.
You will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Professional Services team, identifying areas for improvement and innovation in service delivery. By leveraging best practices and industry insights, you will enhance the team's capabilities and ensure that we remain at the forefront of the Data and AI/ML industry. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
In addition to managing service delivery, you will engage with customers to understand their needs and challenges, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their desired outcomes. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients will be critical in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
