Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in technical program management, particularly in data-driven environments. Your background includes managing complex operational programs and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and cloud providers. You thrive in ambiguous situations and can make data-informed decisions to mitigate risks and improve processes.

You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable using data to guide your decisions. Your experience includes launching and scaling AI/ML workloads, and you have a solid understanding of large-scale infrastructure operations. You are a proactive communicator, able to engage with stakeholders across various time zones and disciplines.

Desirable

Experience with Generative AI technologies and large language models is a plus. Familiarity with GPU-backed platforms and cloud infrastructure will set you apart. You are also adept at using project management tools and methodologies to ensure successful program execution.

What you'll do

In this role, you will plan and execute the day-0 launches of new LLM models, ensuring that all operational aspects are covered. You will partner closely with AI/ML engineering teams to align on technical requirements and operational capabilities. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations.

You will also be responsible for continuously improving how Databricks launches, scales, and governs GenAI workloads. This involves analyzing performance metrics and operational data to inform future initiatives. You will lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and transparency across teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will operate with significant autonomy, making critical decisions that impact the success of GenAI operations. You will report to a Technical Program Leader and will be expected to contribute to strategic planning and execution.
