Job Description

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in technical support, particularly in data solutions, and have a proven track record of resolving complex technical challenges. Your expertise in Java and Python allows you to troubleshoot effectively, while your knowledge of SQL and AWS enhances your ability to manage data-related issues. You are comfortable engaging directly with customers, understanding their technical needs, and providing clear, actionable solutions that ensure high levels of satisfaction. Your experience with Apache Spark and Docker equips you to handle high-impact problems efficiently, and you are familiar with Kubernetes for managing containerized applications. You also have a solid understanding of Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL, which are crucial for maintaining system performance and reliability.

Desirable

Experience with REST API development and incident management is a plus, as it will help you lead the resolution of high-priority incidents effectively. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools will further enhance your ability to collaborate with engineering and product management teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for escalated issues related to the Databricks Data Intelligence platform. You will provide expert-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution for complex problems affecting system performance and reliability. Engaging with customers directly, you will understand their technical issues and requirements, providing timely and clear solutions. You will lead the resolution of high-priority incidents, coordinating with various teams to address and mitigate issues swiftly. Conducting thorough root cause analyses, you will develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence of issues. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with engineering, product management, and DevOps teams to share insights, identify recurring issues, and drive improvements to the platform. Additionally, you will create and maintain detailed documentation on support processes and solutions, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.
