You have over 7 years of experience in enterprise sales, particularly in managing major accounts and driving significant revenue growth. Your background includes a proven track record of success in a fast-paced sales environment, where you've consistently met or exceeded bold revenue targets. You possess a deep understanding of technology and its applications in business, allowing you to effectively communicate value to clients. Your ability to nurture existing relationships and expand the client footprint is a key strength, as is your resourcefulness in overcoming challenges. You are adept at developing comprehensive relationship maps for your territory, ensuring that you maintain and build connections with both existing and aspirational contacts. You thrive in a collaborative office culture and value the relationships you build with your colleagues.
Desirable
Experience in a hybrid workplace is a plus, as is familiarity with the Datadog platform or similar technologies. A competitive spirit and a drive for success will help you excel in this role, as will your ability to negotiate favorable pricing and business terms by effectively selling value and ROI.
What you'll do
In this role, you will prospect into a targeted set of accounts while running an efficient sales process. You will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships and growing the Datadog footprint within your assigned territory. This includes maintaining, building, and owning specific relationship maps that encompass both existing relationships and aspirational contacts. You will develop a deep comprehension of your customers' businesses, allowing you to identify their needs and tailor your approach accordingly. Your role will involve negotiating favorable pricing and business terms, ensuring that you sell the value and ROI of Datadog's offerings. You will demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges, determining the necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation. High forecasting accuracy and consistency will be essential to your success, as you will be expected to provide accurate sales forecasts and updates to the team.
