Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, particularly in managing large accounts and driving significant revenue growth. Your background includes developing and executing go-to-market strategies that resonate with enterprise clients, and you understand the nuances of complex sales cycles. You excel in coaching and mentoring teams, helping them build strong relationships with key stakeholders and navigate negotiations effectively.
You possess a deep understanding of sales metrics and productivity metrics, such as deal size and win rates, and you leverage this knowledge to guide your team towards achieving their targets. Your collaborative approach allows you to work seamlessly with marketing, product, and customer success teams to create tailored messaging and customer journeys that align with business needs.
What you'll do
As the Director of Major Accounts at Datadog, you will manage, hire, and train a team of Major Account Managers responsible for executing large expansion deals. You will set and achieve annual Enterprise bookings quotas, ensuring your team meets monthly and quarterly targets. Your role will involve shaping the direction of the go-to-market strategy for your region, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop targeted messaging and collateral.
You will conduct weekly forecast meetings to track progress and provide insights into team performance. Your leadership will be crucial in coaching Major Account Managers on building executive relationships with Named Enterprise accounts, guiding them through complex deals and negotiations. You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative office culture that values creativity and teamwork, ensuring that your team can thrive in a hybrid workplace.
