What you'll do
As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Datadog, your primary focus will be on acquiring new customers and converting inbound leads into closed opportunities. You will leverage tools like Sales Navigator to strategically prospect into key decision-makers, including Chief Technology Officers and Engineering/IT Leaders. Your role will involve managing the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to negotiations and on-site technical demonstrations, ensuring that you meet the unique needs of each customer.
You will collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives to drive top-of-funnel activity and multi-thread into different departments of complex organizations. Your ability to understand customer pain points and articulate the value of Datadog's products will be crucial in closing deals and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
