Who you are

You have experience in hunting and closing net new logos, demonstrating your ability to engage with potential clients effectively. You understand the importance of collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify customer needs and convey the value of the Datadog product. Your background in sales equips you with the skills to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. You thrive in a hybrid workplace, valuing the relationships and creativity that come from collaboration.

While you may not meet every qualification on day one, your passion for technology and eagerness to grow your experience in sales will set you apart. You are comfortable engaging with Chief Technology Officers and Engineering/IT Leaders, showcasing your ability to navigate complex organizations.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Market Account Executive, your primary focus will be on net-new logo acquisition, converting inbound leads into closed opportunities. You will strategically prospect into various departments within organizations, ensuring a multi-threaded approach to sales. Collaborating with Sales Development Representatives, you will drive top-of-funnel activity and manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and on-site technical demonstrations. Your role will involve leveraging tools such as Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg to identify and engage potential clients effectively.
