You have over 2 years of experience in field sales for IT products, including closing deals. You are curious and eager to learn about new technologies, demonstrating a strong desire to expand your knowledge. You are creative in your approach to new customer acquisition, not limited by conventional methods. You have a growth mindset, learning from feedback and continuously striving to improve. You are accustomed to handling technical products and thrive in fast-paced environments. You have a proven track record of achieving sales KPIs and delivering high performance.

What you'll do

As a Commercial Account Executive on the Commercial Sales Team, you will focus on acquiring new customers in the mid-market segment through outbound sales activities. You will engage in all aspects of the sales cycle, including technical demonstrations and negotiations, while collaborating with the Sales Development Team to drive lead generation efforts. You will strategically target CTOs, CIOs, and engineering IT leaders, ensuring that you understand their unique needs and effectively communicate the value of Datadog's offerings. You will contribute to the overall growth of Datadog's business by successfully closing deals and building strong relationships with clients.
