Datadog is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to drive business growth by acquiring new customers in small to midsize markets. You'll engage with stakeholders and manage the full sales cycle. This role requires at least one year of sales experience with complex products.
Job Description
Who you are
You have at least one year of full sales-cycle experience, from prospecting to closing deals, and a minimum of one year selling a complex and technical product or service. You are curious, driven, and motivated as a sales person, with a creative approach to mapping and breaking into accounts. You are comfortable operating in a highly technical, fast-paced environment and can learn from feedback while championing a growth mindset.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive on our Commercial Sales team, you will focus on net-new logo acquisition through outbound activity. You will become a Datadog expert through continued product and sales training, managing the full sales cycle, including technical demonstrations and negotiations. You will collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top-of-funnel activity and strategically prospect into Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users.
