Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record of success selling into security buyers such as CISOs and SecOps teams — your experience has equipped you with the ability to understand their unique needs and challenges. You thrive in a collaborative environment, having co-sold in a matrixed setting alongside Account Executives and cross-functional teams. Your strong communication skills enable you to evangelize security solutions effectively, making you a trusted advisor to your clients.
You stay informed on the latest security trends and competitive offerings — this knowledge allows you to differentiate Datadog's solutions in conversations with potential customers. You understand the importance of building relationships and fostering collaboration within your team and with partners.
Desirable
Experience with Datadog's security products is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud security solutions. You are comfortable navigating complex sales processes and have a knack for engaging with technical stakeholders. Your analytical mindset helps you contribute to deal strategy and solution alignment, ensuring that you meet the needs of your clients effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert for Datadog's Security products across a targeted account patch. You will collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives to support net new logo acquisition and expansion in strategic accounts. Your responsibilities will include owning and driving the security sales cycle, working closely with Sales Engineers to ensure a seamless experience for customers.
You will evangelize Datadog's security story to security leaders, including CISOs, Security Architects, and SecOps teams. This involves understanding their pain points and demonstrating how Datadog's solutions can modernize their security stack in the cloud. You will work cross-functionally with Datadog's partner, channel, and alliance teams to drive joint go-to-market motions, ensuring that you leverage all available resources to maximize success.
Staying informed on security trends and competitive offerings will be crucial to your success — you will need to differentiate Datadog's solutions and articulate their value proposition clearly. You will contribute to deal strategy, solution alignment, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the sales process.
What we offer

As part of a hybrid workplace, you will have the flexibility to create a work-life harmony that best fits your needs. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your unique perspective and skills could be a great fit for our team.
