You have a strong background in sales engineering, with experience in providing technical expertise during sales presentations and product demonstrations. You are skilled at qualifying and closing opportunities with customers and partners, and you understand the importance of customer feedback in shaping product features. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively. You are passionate about educating customers on observability risks that are meaningful to their business, and you can build and execute evaluation plans with customers. You thrive in a collaborative environment and value the relationships built through teamwork.
What you'll do
As an Enterprise Sales Engineer at Datadog, you will partner closely with the Sales team to articulate the overall value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers. You will own the technical engagement with customers during the trial phase, ensuring they understand the value of Datadog's solutions. Your role will involve delivering product and technical briefings and presentations to potential clients, helping them navigate any identified issues or concerns to a successful conclusion. You will maintain accurate notes and feedback in the CRM regarding customer input, both wins and losses, and proactively engage with customers and Datadog's business and technical teams regarding product feedback and the competitive landscape. Your expertise will help qualify and close complex opportunities, leveraging your advanced competitive knowledge and technical skills.
