You have 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, particularly within the public sector, and have a proven track record of driving new business through the full sales cycle. You possess strong strategic thinking skills, allowing you to develop effective sales methodologies that align with customer needs. Your ability to build executive relationships with public sector accounts is a key strength, enabling you to navigate complex sales processes and close deals effectively.
What you'll do
As the Director of Enterprise Sales (SLED West) at Datadog, you will manage, hire, train, and ramp a team of Enterprise SLED Sales Executives. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve annual SLED bookings quotas through effective team management and strategic planning. You will develop and manage your team's productivity metrics, ensuring they meet targets related to deal size, win rate, and forecast accuracy.
You will coach your sales executives on building strong relationships with public sector accounts, guiding them through proactive sales cycles. Your role will involve collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment on sales strategies and customer engagement initiatives.
