Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the public sector, with at least 5+ years of experience leading sales teams. Your ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies has driven significant growth in previous roles. You understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the State, Local, and Education (SLED) markets, and you are passionate about mentoring and developing your team to achieve their best.

You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Your leadership style is collaborative, fostering a culture of teamwork and success. You are results-oriented, with a keen focus on achieving sales quotas and driving new business opportunities.

Desirable

Experience in a hybrid work environment is a plus, as you understand the importance of work-life balance and team dynamics. Familiarity with Datadog's products and services will help you convey their value effectively to potential clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage, hire, train, and ramp a team of Enterprise SLED Sales Executives responsible for new and expansion bookings. You will set clear monthly and quarterly targets and develop your team on productivity metrics such as deal size, win rate, and forecast accuracy. Your coaching will guide Sales Executives in building executive relationships with Public Sector accounts in their territories, ensuring they navigate the sales cycle effectively.

You will also be responsible for developing strategies that align with Datadog's goals in the public sector, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding existing accounts. Your leadership will be crucial in formalizing support for the Public Sector segments as Datadog continues to grow in this area.
