Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in partner-facing, quota-carrying business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales within a cloud services or software as a service organization. You have a proven track record of driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, effectively negotiating agreements, and building long-term relationships with partners. Your ability to identify and recruit new strategic partners, including Cloud MSPs, Cloud SIs, VARs, and Public Cloud Services Providers, sets you apart in this role. You thrive in a collaborative environment and understand the importance of fostering ongoing relationships with key strategic partners to ensure mutual success.
What you'll do
As a Partner Sales Manager at Datadog, you will be responsible for building channels and alliances that drive new customer adoption and revenue. You will identify and recruit new strategic partners to enhance our partner ecosystem and enable existing partners through training, planning, and joint selling activities. You will coordinate the technical and marketing aspects of integrated partnership launches, ensuring that all partners are well-equipped to succeed. Regular business reviews with partners will be a key part of your role, where you will drive accountability and report on success metrics. You will work closely with Datadogβs regional enterprise and commercial sales organizations to generate partner-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
