What you'll do
In this role, you will partner closely with the Sales Team to articulate Datadog's value proposition and strategy to customers. You will manage a team of Sales Engineers, focusing on expanding the usage of Datadog within customer accounts. Your responsibilities will include overseeing resource allocation, ensuring maximum productivity, and mentoring your team to develop their technical and soft skills. You will also play a crucial role in recruiting efforts, helping to identify and onboard top talent in your region.
You will foster strong partnerships between the Sales Engineering team and other departments within Datadog, such as Product Management and Support. This collaboration will be essential in ensuring that your team is aligned with the company's goals and can effectively support customer needs. Your hands-on approach will involve participating in customer-facing activities, providing technical expertise during sales presentations and product demonstrations, and supporting technical evaluations. You will be instrumental in driving the success of your team and contributing to Datadog's growth in the EMEA region.
