Decagon is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to develop strategies for key client acquisition and build relationships with major brands. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a product-minded approach.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in business development, particularly in strategic account management, and thrive in a highly autonomous environment. You are product-minded and scrappy, comfortable building your pipeline with some of the largest brands in the world. Your ability to develop deep, trusted relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the customer organization sets you apart. You are comfortable speaking to CX leaders, product leaders, and other decision-makers, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of Decagon's offerings.
You possess a strong understanding of the conversational AI landscape and have experience selling AI or customer support/experience software. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and execute plans that break into and close key strategic logos for Decagon. You are driven by results and have a winner's mindset, always looking for ways to improve and innovate.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop a comprehensive strategy to penetrate key markets and secure strategic accounts for Decagon. You will work closely with engineering teams to customize solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring successful implementations and high customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential clients, conducting outreach, and nurturing relationships to drive sales growth.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with market demands, ensuring that Decagon remains competitive in the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Your role will also involve analyzing market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies. You will be expected to report on sales performance and provide insights to the leadership team to guide future initiatives.
