You are familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that you can effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of your projects. Your experience with workflow engines and model-driven applications will be a valuable asset to the team.

Desirable

Experience with experimentation or evaluation systems is a plus, as is a background in building tooling or infrastructure for other engineers. You are always looking to improve processes and enhance the developer experience.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Agent Orchestration team, you will design and build the core systems that determine how Decagon agents operate under real-world conditions. Your work will involve coordinating model reasoning and evaluating agent behavior to ensure reliability in customer interactions. You will focus on developing systems that can handle millions of interactions efficiently.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to define requirements and implement solutions that enhance the customer experience. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge, and helping them grow in their careers.

You will be responsible for conducting code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed, and contributing to the overall architecture of the systems you work on. Your contributions will directly impact how Decagon's AI agents interact with customers, making their experiences more personalized and satisfying.
