Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the grocery or retail sector, and understand the nuances of building partnerships in this industry. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships is second to none, allowing you to connect with various stakeholders and drive successful outcomes. You thrive in an individual contributor role, taking ownership of your pipeline and demonstrating a proactive approach to achieving your targets. You are comfortable with data-driven insights and can leverage them to support your sales strategies. Your experience includes managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new partners.
What you'll do
In this role, you will pitch and close partnerships with key grocery retailers in Italy, utilizing various communication channels such as cold calls, visits, and in-person meetings. You will take control of your own sales pipeline, managing your portfolio of leads to ensure strong conversion rates and exceed ambitious volume and quality targets. Leading the end-to-end sales cycle, you will engage in strategic negotiations, crafting attractive offers that align with business objectives. You will also ensure a seamless integration process for new partners, guiding them from registration to operational launch and sales generation. Additionally, you will support the wider commercial team with strategic initiatives, including field pitch days and marketing roll-outs, contributing to cross-functional projects that enhance overall business performance.
