You possess deep knowledge of database maintenance, including upgrades, performance optimization, and capacity planning. Your experience with incident response has equipped you to handle datastore-related issues effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. You are proactive in implementing observability, automation, and tooling to enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll do

As a Staff Database Reliability Engineer at Doctolib, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our datastores. You will work closely with feature teams, empowering them with the necessary database tooling, guidelines, and support to manage their databases efficiently. Your role will involve participating in incident response for production issues, particularly those related to datastores, and implementing strategies for disaster recovery and process improvement.

You will also focus on database infrastructure maintenance, including performance optimization and cost management. Your contributions will help shape the operational practices of the team, driving a culture of reliability and efficiency. You will collaborate with product, design, and business teams to build innovative products that improve the daily lives of care teams and patients.
