Doctrine is seeking a Public Procurement & Commercial Counsel to enhance the accessibility of law through AI. You'll collaborate with various teams to negotiate contracts and support legal operations. This role requires a strong understanding of legal frameworks and commercial law.

You have a solid background in public procurement and commercial law, ideally with experience in the tech or AI sectors. Your understanding of legal frameworks allows you to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with business goals. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with commercial teams and product developers to understand the nuances of the product and its legal implications. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to articulate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. You are proactive in identifying potential legal issues and providing solutions that align with the company's mission to make law more accessible.
Desirable
Experience in the legal tech industry or familiarity with AI applications in law would be a significant advantage. A strong network within the legal community can also enhance your effectiveness in this role, as you will be expected to engage with various stakeholders.
What you'll do
