Your experience in the financial technology sector is beneficial, but not mandatory, as you are adaptable and eager to learn. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. Fluency in Mandarin is a significant asset, enabling you to navigate legal matters in the Greater China market effectively. You understand industry-specific contract terms and have a solid grasp of internet and data-related regulations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide dedicated legal advice to Stripe's Marketing organization, focusing on commercial, marketing, and privacy issues across the APAC region. You will help ensure that all marketing materials, events, and communications comply with applicable laws, thereby supporting Stripe's mission of helping businesses grow. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Communications, and Design, to develop legal strategies that align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include reviewing marketing content, advising on compliance with data protection regulations, and assisting in the development of legal support frameworks tailored to the needs of the APAC region. You will also engage with external legal counsel as necessary to ensure comprehensive legal coverage for Stripe's operations in the region.
