Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in managing relationships with small and mid-size businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with cold calling and managing a dedicated lead list. You possess excellent communication skills and are motivated by achieving sales targets. You are adaptable and willing to travel as needed for in-person collaboration and training. You understand the importance of building meaningful partnerships and are excited about helping merchants grow through innovative solutions.
Desirable
Experience in the food delivery or logistics industry is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes will help you excel in this role. A background in working with emerging markets or underserved communities can provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities you will encounter.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals with high-potential SMB merchants in emerging markets. You will spend the majority of your day cold calling and engaging with potential partners, pitching the DoorDash platform and its benefits. You will develop a structured and repeatable process to consult with merchants and guide them through the onboarding process. You will collaborate closely with your Inside Sales Manager, who will provide ongoing coaching and support to help you succeed. Your role will also involve tracking your sales metrics and reporting on your progress to ensure you meet your quotas.
