You have 2-4 years of quota-carrying closing sales experience, ideally in the SaaS industry β you've successfully managed sales pipelines and understand the nuances of consultative selling. Your strong time management and organizational skills allow you to prioritize effectively, ensuring that you meet your sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You are a creative and curious individual, driven to help small and medium-sized businesses grow and engage their audience through innovative video solutions. You thrive in an autonomous environment, demonstrating discipline and independence in how you manage your time and responsibilities.
Desirable
Experience with video marketing solutions or familiarity with Wistia's offerings would be a plus, as would a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas. You are comfortable interfacing with technical teams to ensure clarity and accuracy in recommendations provided to customers, enhancing their experience and understanding of the product.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Wistia, you will manage a pipeline of opportunities at various stages in the sales funnel, working deals from initial lead to close. You will take a consultative approach to understand the needs and challenges of prospective customers, educating them on how to leverage video to market and grow their business. Your role will involve prospecting new deals both inside and outside of Wistiaβs database, conducting consultative demos to showcase the value of our solutions. You will also interface with technical members of the Wistia team to ensure consistency and clarity in all recommendations provided to current and prospective customers. Additionally, you will effectively forecast your pipeline from a monthly and quarterly perspective, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
